Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Innovative Beacon Technologies LLC (“we,” “us,” or “the Company”) for your use of the Standom mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using Standom, you agree to these Terms.

Who we are

Innovative Beacon Technologies LLC operates Standom. References to “Standom” mean the app and related features we provide. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Service. How we collect and use personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be old enough to use the Service under the laws of your jurisdiction (typically at least 13 in the United States, or older where local law requires). If you are not, you may not use Standom.

You are responsible for your account, including keeping sign-in details secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate information and keep your profile reasonably up to date. Access to Standom is a privilege, not a right. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we may refuse, suspend, or close any account at our sole discretion, with or without cause or prior notice.

The Service

Standom is a fan community and entertainment product. It includes games (local and online), match lobbies, friend connections and invites, profiles, and a community Thread where users can post, comment, vote, and discuss. Features may change, be limited, or be unavailable from time to time. We do not guarantee that any particular mode, universe, or feature will remain available.

We provide a venue and tools for that experience. We are not a publisher, editor, or speaker of user content, and we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or safety of anything you see, read, hear, or otherwise encounter in the Service.

Standom is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the owners of third-party universes, leagues, teams, characters, or other intellectual property that users may discuss or play with in the Service.

User content, Thread, and what you may encounter

The Thread, comments, profiles, usernames, game chat-like interactions in lobbies, invites, and similar features contain content created by users—not by us. Other people may post opinions, jokes, spoilers, mistakes, offensive material, or unlawful material despite our rules.

You understand and agree that you may see, read, or otherwise be exposed to content that is inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, indecent, objectionable, or harmful. You access that content at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not responsible or liable for any user-generated or third-party content, or for any loss, harm, distress, or damage arising from what you see, read, hear, or experience in the Service—including in the Thread, comments, profiles, games, or lobbies.

We do not undertake a general duty to monitor, review, or control all activity. We may use automated tools (including third-party moderation services) and human review, and we may remove or restrict content or accounts. Those tools are imperfect. Content may appear before review, slip through, or be wrongly flagged. Use of any filter or moderation feature is not a promise that the Service is safe, accurate, or free of prohibited material.

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We are not a party to disputes between users and are not obligated to mediate them.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit (for example Thread posts, comments, votes, profile details, and photos). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, improve, moderate, and provide the Service, including making it visible to other users according to how the feature works.

You represent that you have the rights to post what you submit and that it does not violate these Terms or the law. You are solely responsible for your content. Reporting concerns is available through Profile → Contact us in the app, or by emailing [email protected].

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to harass, bully, threaten, stalk, intimidate, impersonate, defraud, or otherwise harm others; to post illegal, hateful, violent, or sexually exploitative content (including any sexual content involving minors), or other prohibited content; to cheat, exploit, or disrupt games or lobbies; to spam, scrape, or reverse engineer the Service in unauthorized ways; or to interfere with our systems or other users’ access.

You must follow applicable law. If we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or the law, we may—at our sole discretion and with or without prior notice—remove or hide your content, restrict features, suspend your account, or permanently delete your account and associated access. We are not required to warn you first, to explain every decision, or to restore an account we have closed. Enforcement is discretionary and does not create a duty to take any particular action against you or anyone else.

Games, lobbies, and records

Games and lobbies are provided solely for entertainment. Outcomes, rankings, victories, and in-app records may be delayed, incomplete, incorrect, or later corrected if we detect errors, forfeits, disconnects, or abuse. We are not responsible for lost progress, unfair play by others, or any reliance you place on scores or history.

Do not share private information in posts, comments, or lobbies that you are not willing to make visible to other users.

Intellectual property

The Service—including our name, logos, design, and software—is owned by Innovative Beacon Technologies LLC or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our branding or software except as we expressly allow.

Third-party names, characters, teams, and other materials that appear in discussion or gameplay are the property of their respective owners. Your use of the Service does not grant you any rights in those materials. Fan discussion and gameplay are provided as an unofficial community experience only.

Termination

You may stop using Standom at any time. You may delete your account from Profile → Settings → Delete account, subject to the process described there and in our Privacy Policy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we may suspend or permanently terminate your access, and delete or disable your account, at our sole discretion—for any reason or no reason—including if you violate these Terms (including Acceptable use), if we reasonably believe your account puts the Service or other users at risk, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the Service. We are not obligated to provide advance notice or a detailed explanation, or to restore an account we have closed. This reservation of rights does not authorize us to violate applicable law. Some provisions of these Terms (including licenses you granted, ownership, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability) survive termination.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful content.

Without limiting the above, we specifically disclaim any responsibility for: (a) user-generated content in the Thread or elsewhere; (b) the conduct of other users; (c) third-party services (for example sign-in, hosting, or notifications); (d) unofficial references to third-party universes or brands; and (e) any decision you make based on information in the Service.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Innovative Beacon Technologies LLC and its officers, members, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service—including exposure to user content, other users’ conduct, or inability to use the Service—even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us, if any, for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (US $50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Innovative Beacon Technologies LLC and its officers, members, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: your use of the Service; your content; your interactions with other users; or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms in the app and on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
